We at Brooder House Auction Service know that having an estate to settle can be a trying, and all too often, painful experience. That is why we believe that consideration for our consignors should be our number one priority. As a second generation auctioneer with over 30 years experience in the auction business, we guarantee that each and every individual will be given the attention and respect they truly deserve.

Brooder House Auction Service will work work with you to make your estate settlement as quick, comfortable and uncomplicated a process as possible. We realize that at times like these, sometimes things can become confusing, frustrating, and even outright overwhelming. That is why we are firm believers of that statement "simpler is better". We will gladly guide you through the steps that we will be taking before any item is removed from your property, in order that you will know exactly what to expect.

Brooder House Auction Service offers a complete estate liquidation service. That means we will come to your home with our transport crew, sort, tag and list your items for auction, gently package them and transport them to our auction hall, all at no additional cost to you. With prior arrangement, we also offer a "broom clean" service, which means when we are finished removing your items, we'll even sweep the floor for you!

Brooder House Auction Service is bonded and insured, and our movers are professionals on handling quality estate property. We have an excellent track record for transporting goods. Our movers are well trained in the packaging of everything from bedroom suites to flatware and anything in between. We have excellent references available upon request.

Brooder House Auction Service also accepts individual (or single item) consignments. We are more than happy to make a house call for one quality item. If you are unsure of the value of an item, please call. Too many times valuable items have been discarded because the owner was not aware of the antique or collectible value.

Lots: two or more items may be combined at the discretion of the auctioneer or the auction coordinator to establish a better price for the sale of these items as combined rather than individual pieces.

Advertising: We do not charge our consignors for our standard advertising. At this time we have a mailing list of over 500, an email listing of over 150 (and growing daily!), plus four newspapers covering the towns of Bath-Brunswick, Augusta-Gardiner, Waterville-Skowhegan and Bangor, as well as the Camden-Rockland Midcoast area.

Consignment fees may vary at the discretion of the auctioneer.
